These are interesting. 1)best = NOT giving Cujo a 4 year deal! 2)worst = NOT firing Dryden so we could have hired Tambellini as gm. 3) Guess what ~~ Homer is da man! 4) Not even a thought required, sappy crap they call Friends. I'd say any reality show but I don't consider that as a tv show. 5) loved Math / hated English Lit 6) Yes (inferred in question 1) 7) 69 GTO 400 4speed~sweeeeeeet 8) Mario, ugh it pains me to say that 9) 5'8" approx 185-190(fluctuates drastically) brown hair/eyes, very short hair(but it's all there), contacts 10) Sittler's winning goal in the first Canada Cup 11) refer to # 10 - Sitt hands down 12) Hard to pick one, I have 4 active kids. Their first goal or basket (they play hockey and basketball), these are etched in my memory forever. The day my oldest boy played for the select hockey team in a 35 year old friendship tournament in Quebec that I played in as a little guy. It's a neat feeling, visiting your memories while building new ones with your kids~circle of life? 13) I pick Leafs, but seriously~anyone but Detroit! 14) Dad? Icon, true Canadian. Silence descends upon our house on Saturday as our family gathers around the tv to listen to the words of inspiration from Canada's answer to Homer Simpson- they're both my heroes! 15) Uhhh, I'll have to get back to you after the trial (joking)

I missed this the first time I read back over the posts. My powers of observation aren't as sharp as they used to be 1. Best Off-Season move the leafs did, or did not do: Not trading away any of the core players 2. Worst Off-Season move: Keeping Hoglund 3. You Favorite TV show: Not a big TV person, so Hockey Night in Canada 4. Least Favorie TV show: Just about everything else, but to pick just one, Any talk show (Jerry Springer, Ricki Lake, Sally Jessie etc) 5. Favorite school subject...followed by least favorite school subject: Math/English 6. In one word....personal feelings towards the PERSON aside...is Belfour and Upgrade over CUJO. YES OR NO. ( just one word please ): NO 7. Your Dream Car: Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Twin Turbo or the GTO as it's called in Japan. Beyond the Viper I hate American made cars 8. Best current NHLer: Sakic 9. Quick Description of yourself: 5' 11", 190 lbs, black hair with lots of grey 10. All-Time favorite sports memory: 1987 Canada Cup, watching Mario score the go ahead goal. 11. All-Time favorite athlete: Sittler. As a kid I always pretended to be him while playing street hockey. 12. If any, YOUR favorite Sports moment ( not pro sports, involving yourself or your kids ): My kids are just entering the age for sports, so until they make some memories, I'll have to go with one of mine. Back when I was a kid playing AAA, our team entered the Silver Stick tournament in which the semi finals and finals were played in MLG. I still remember standing there for the National Anthem and being in total awe of where I was. 13. One answer ( due to Pam's habit )....who will win the Cup this year: Dallas 14. Describe/your opinion of Don Cherry in 1 word: Legendary 15. Keeping it fairly clean , weirdest/worst/meanest/dirtiest/embarassing etc etc etc. thing you've ever done...or that you can/wanna share : I've done a number of stupid things in my short life, but I'll share this one. I decided to steal (borrow) my dads car one night to go for a joy ride with my buddy. Well it turned out not to be much of a joy when we parked the car to take a little walk and when we came back I realized I had left the lights on and the battery was dead. It took awhile to find someone at 3 in the morning willing to give us a boost, but I managed to get the car back without being caught.

These are interesting. 7) 69 GTO 400 4speed~sweeeeeeet Wow, cool!! I had a 67 GTO and I really loved it (guys really loved my car too . Broke my heart when I finally had to trade it in. I wish I could get another one. I still see GTO's on the road every so often, so I know some of them are still around. I still love them as much as I did way back then. Whenever I see one on the road I ache for mine and drool over the one on the road.

well, I'm new, so this will be appreciated by the lot of you! I'm 19, in university, and I'm studying sociology, and a plethra of other subjects, International Development, Politics, Business, and Business Adminstration. after that, I'm going to college for my sports managment degree, then going to law school to gain my sports and entertainment law degree. After all of that (I figure, i'll be 30), I'm applying to the Toronto Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment as a lawyer and then work my way up to become a General Manager. That should take about 15 years. So at the ripe ole age of 45, I should be the first woman to work as a GM. (sheesh, it's all making my head spin!) 1. Best Off-Season move the leafs did, or did not do: Did do: signing Belfour. Did not do: not signing anyone else. 2. Worst Off-Season move: Not resigning Don, someone or other, I lost his name for the moment. He was the AHL's leading scorer last year, and St John's is sorely missing him now. NHL level, Amonte: does anyone know what happened there? 3. You Favorite TV show: Charmed and Survivor, Mole (sorry I love that show, it's great Law school training) 4. Least Favorie TV show: Seinfield, makes no sense to me what-so-ever 5. Favorite school subject...followed by least favorite school subject: English and Sociology. Despise Math. 6. In one word....personal feelings towards the PERSON aside...is Belfour and Upgrade over CUJO. YES OR NO. ( just one word please ): Yes 7. Your Dream Car: an electric car, I hate using up our natural resources 8. Best current NHLer: Naslund or Gaborik 9. Quick Description of yourslef: 5'8 1/2 (need that 1 inch!), glasses, short hair, awesome smile (so everyone tells me) pleasingly plump 10. All-Time favorite sports memory: Besides seeing the gold medal won in S.L. by both the women and men, April 15th 2001, 3 minutes into overtime Game One, Toronto vs Ottawa in Ottawa. Sundin blasts one by Lalime, I become a Leaf fan for life 11. All-Time favorite athlete: Catriona LeMay Doan. if I could be 1/2 the woman she is (or what she appears to be, I should say), I would be set for life. 12. If any, YOUR favorite Sports moment ( not pro sports, involving yourself or your kids ): scoring the winning goal in intermural college scoccer. We lost the season, but I remember it, because I fanned on the kick, and my team-mate ran after it, making strange noises at the goalie, so he wouldn't stop it. it was hilarious! 13. One answer ( due to Pam's habit )....who will win the Cup this year: Toronto, if they get their act together. Learned long ago, never undestimate this team, and, with Belfour playing the way he is, they only really need that scoring winger. (mean Santa Clause, he could have brought one!) 14. Describe/your opinion of Don Cherry in 1 word: Hilarious 15. Keeping it fairly clean , weirdest/worst/meanest/dirtiest/embarassing etc etc etc. thing you've ever done...or that you can/wanna share : the most embarassing thing I've ever done was sing in vocal class. I was singing "Greensleeves" and I reached the second verse, but everyone was cheering. I get flustered really easily, so I lost my place. I couldn't remember for the life of me, what the words were. So i did the most girlish thing I could do. Burst into tears, and blubbered like a baby. Needless to say, my music teacher never game me a solo that year.

1. Best off-season move for the Leafs: Definitely signing Belfour. 2. Worst off-season move for the Leafs: I'd say trading Yushkevich for Svehla. I like Svehla a lot, but I feel he could have been had for a lot less. A top four of McCabe, Kaberle, Yushkevich and Svehla would have made the Leafs very strong on the blueline. 3. Favourite TV show: Hmm, well I don't watch TV all that much anymore but I'd have to say Leaf games. If you're referring to an actual show, then "That 70's Show" would be my pick. 4. Least favourite show: Probably any Soap Opera. They make me cringe. 5. Favourite subject: In highschool, gym of course. In university, probably history (my major) or my required science credit of Astronomy. 6. Is Belfour an upgrade over Joseph? Definitely. 7. Dream car: Not a huge car person, but I wouldn't mind a beamer. 8. Best current NHL'er: Thorton 9. Description of self: 5'11, 205lbs (although everyone says I look 180), broad shoulders, short brown hair, blue eyes, glasses/contacts 10. All-time favourite sports memory: Canada winning gold in Salt Lake City. 11. All-time favourite athlete: Probably Gilmour when he was in his heyday with the Leafs. Never said die. 12. Favourite personal sports moment: Playing hockey on the street with my friends. 13. I'm an eternal optimist when it comes to the Leafs. Toronto. 14. Don Cherry in one word: Loyal. 15. Can't think of anything off the top of my head.

I'll answer these using the current off-season as a reference. 1. Best Off-Season move the leafs did, or did not do: Reshuffle the front office, though they should have started on it sooner. 2. Worst Off-Season move: I would have pursued Kariya and Selanne more actively, though some of that is definitely hindsight. 3. You Favorite TV show: Hockey Night in Canada (really surprised it didn't make more people's lists), followed by The Sopranos (watching the clock as I type this...) 4. Least Favorie TV show: There is no single show I can say that about. If I don't like a show, I'll never see more than 1 or 2 episodes of it. 5. Favorite school subject...followed by least favorite school subject: Fave was Math, I guess. Least favourite was Biology. 6. In one word....personal feelings towards the PERSON aside...is Belfour and Upgrade over CUJO. YES OR NO. ( just one word please ): Yes 7. Your Dream Car: Probably a Hummer 8. Best current NHLer: Either Joe Thornton or Todd Bertuzzi 9. Quick Description of yourself: 6'1", 220, dark hair, moustache. 10. All-Time favorite sports memory: 1972 Summit Series. Bought the 25th Anniversary DVD set, too (ok, actually, I received it for Christmas last year) 11. All-Time favorite athlete: Tough to choose, but I'll go with Terry Fox. 12. If any, YOUR favorite Sports moment ( not pro sports, involving yourself or your kids ): The company I used to work for hosted a charity softball tournament each year. They fielded 2 teams themselves for the tournament. The last year I was there, they demoted me to the B team. In the round-robin tournament, the B Team clobbered the A Team -- and I led the way with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, a single and a stellar defensive game at shortstop. Suffice to say, I felt vindicated. 13. One answer ( due to Pam's habit )....who will win the Cup this year: Senators. There, I jixed 'em. Thank me in the Spring. 14. Describe/your opinion of Don Cherry in 1 word: Indispensable

There, I jixed 'em. Thank me in the Spring. 1. I agree with you 100% 3. I wish I could see HNIC every Saturday instead of listening to it on the Internet. I've seen HNIC when I've been in Toronto for the Leafs and in Vancouver for the Sharks (Leafs were Game 1 that night). It's pretty cool. Maybe someday I can get a Dish and NHL Centre Ice. 13. Since you are new, you won't undertand TG's "due to Pam's habit" comment. Everytime (but the very last time) TG has asked for 1 answer, whether in a string like this or a poll, I've always given multiple answers even though I was only supposed to give one comment. I do that because he doesn't give me an "all of the above" or a "none of the above" option in polls and in strings like this, one answer isn't always possible for me. ;D TG has known me online for so long I guess he's used to me by now. Thanks for jinxing the Sens for us. ;D

10. All-Time favorite sports memory: Probably ALL star game in t.o or Canada winning the gold I was at that All Star Game in Toronto in 2000. I really enjoyed that one. The NHL will be hard pressed to ever have that good an All Star Game again. Even the Players liked it in Toronto that year and liked that game. I've heard some of them say in interviews since then that they wouldn't mind having it in Toronto again. I was rooting for Team Canada to win the Gold too, instead of rooting for my country's team (Team USA). I truly would have been heartsick if USA had beaten Canada. 15. Keeping it fairly clean , weirdest/worst/meanest/dirtiest/embarassing etc etc etc. thing you've ever done...or that you can/wanna share : Umm... well caled my teacher mom once in class lol LOL!! That is a good one!! ;D I can imagine it did embarass the heck out of you when it happened, but now after it is past, I'm sure you think it was very funny when you did it. ;D
