The Leafs are playing a really bottom, bottom feeder tonight. Ducks are in 30th place in the League. This should be an easy win for the Leafs, but we all know this story. Most times, they play down to bottom feeders and lose. I hope tonight they don't play down to the Ducks. Leafs need to be charged up to win this one.

10 o'clock start here so I've got a fighting chance to watch this one. let's hope the boys continue on as they did last night. Hearing the kid is in nets so they will need to protect him for sure.

I was wondering if they would go back to Jones or give Hildeby the start tonight. I’m looking forward to see what the kid looks like in goal. They better give him all the support they can. |

I'm wondering what the kid can do in goal as well. Don't know much about him, outside of a few positive comments. I haven't heard anyone calling him the second coming of Patrick Roy however, so I'll keep my expectations in check.

I haven't heard anything myself, but I stay off social media as best I can. I was talking to the manager of the local hockey store who is also a big Leafs fan and I have no reason to doubt him.

I'm wondering what the kid can do in goal as well. Don't know much about him, outside of a few positive comments. I haven't heard anyone calling him the second coming of Patrick Roy however, so I'll keep my expectations in check. Of course the social media is rarely silent and ive already heard the term 'Hilde-BEAST'...no foolin'. What was the term they had for Gustavsson before hed even played a game? Monster something or other? |

My thoughts on signing Nylander. I'd like to see him stay a Leaf, if possible, but 11-million for 8 years, absolutely not. 5 years at the max and something less than 11 million. If a compromise can't be reached, then move him.

Martin Jones gets the start again tonight.
Also, apparently Holmberg is coming into the lineup tonight, and Nick Robertson sits. Sounds like another example of chronic over-tinkering by Keefe, especially after one of their best wins of the season.

I was listening to the Jeff Marek show today and he said he received a text during the 2022 NHL draft from an executive of another NHL team and this executive praised the leafs for picking Dennis Hildeby in the 4th round saying the leafs had chosen a real diamond in the rough. I thought that was an interesting and encouraging comment to hear coming from a non leafs person.

Sounds like another example of chronic over-tinkering by Keefe, especially after one of their best wins of the season. Yeah I was just reading Jones would start again. Last night after the game Keefe said they were waiting until today on who to start. That he and the staff would decide on it after seeing how Jones felt this morning. |

I’m ok Nick Robertson sitting, for all the hype he has gotten over the years we still have not seen much production. Yeah honestly im not really impressed either. If he was moved in a deal I wouldn't lose any sleep. |
