Leafs are 3rd in the division with 49 points and have won 4 in a row. Islanders are 1st wildcard with 46 points and have lost 2 in a row. Leafs generally don't do well on the Isle, but if the Leafs play tonight the way they have the last 4 games they could win.

If they keep playing like they have been playing recently this is very much a winnable game. Since Jones has settled the situation down in goal they look like a different team.

They do look like a different team. Is it because of Jones? That has to be part of it. Has something finally just started clicking after 35 games? Was something said in the room? I think the way Auston and Willy have been going has helped fire up the boys. The 4th line is doing their job. The d have quietly gone about their business. Whatever it is, I just hope this is what we see over the last half and stretch drive. Consistency eludes this team so often that I keep waiting for the next drop in play. The next 3 games will tell us a lot, especially the Avs matchup.

Those dirty rats took this game away from me. It was originally listed for ESPN+. I already knew Saturday's game would be on the NHL Network. They didn't need to take this one away from us too.

Nice hometown call 30 seconds in. Matthew gets tripped and it was ignored and five seconds later he gets called for a trip. 1-0 Isles.

Yea, it's frustrating. I'm running a little late and just went to put the game on, only to find out it's on espn, but not espn+. Oh well. I see they're down a goal already.

I guess this one is on ESPN I can't watch this game. I dropped cable so I can't get espn anymore. I just stream espn+, but they blocked this game because of that.

Oh, I am sorry. It’s getting harder for us every year being retired. Comcast raises the rates every year and there are other alternatives which sooner or later I may have to turn to.

I'm retired as well and figured I wasn't watching much of anything on cable anymore, so why keep it. I get local stations with an antenna and like Pam, just use streaming services.

Have any of you heard about Apollo TV? Not sure if it’s available south of the border, but for those of you who do not have cable tv, this might be an option for you? I pay $40 CANADIAN a month for Roger’s NHL, and this is just to watch Leafs games. It seems that every season, there are more Leafs games blacked out, here in Nova Scotia. I heard about Apollo TV from my boss, so I took a free trial for 10 days. I was interested to see if I would be able to get Leaf’s games and ironically, the NHL network is one of the many channels on Apollo TV. The annual subscription is $215 Canadian, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than paying $40 per month for 8-9 months. Plus, you more stations than you would get with loaded cable, free new release movies, etc.? Might be worth checking into for some of you? Back to the game. We are getting lots of chances, but we are giving up way too many as well. GO LEAFS GO!
