Sounds promising. I know he’s not the savior on d but he’s another guy that can make it tough on opponents gaining the zone. McCabe and Benoit have been decent at dishing it out too. Maybe the heaviest defence we’ve had for awhile.? Not huge but capable of punishing.

I have needed to vent on something since March 2nd. Going into this game, Remke had only played in 7 games and he already had 5 fights (that's even too many for me). Enter Boosh playing right after being acquired. Boosh is near the boards. Remke is at the other end of the ice. Remke skates as fast as he can down the ice, jumps off the ice and rams Boosh into the glass. No penalty called. The NHL department of player safety doesn't suspend him. If Rielly is suspended, shouldn't Remke be suspended for flying off the ice and ramming Boosh's head into the glass? The NHL DPS is a joke. George Parros hates Toronto and has penalized them more than most. Well I have news for you Parros. I hate you more passionately than I hate the Bruins.

Yes, no call on that or a hearing is a crock of 💩.

The League finally suspended Remke. It's about time. Playing the Devils, he charge across the ice to Siegenthaler, like he did with Boosh, and a deliberate hit to the head. He's played in only 10 games and already has 54 minutes in penalties. I like a good fight once in a while, but I don't like the goon type Remke is doing. As far as I am concerned, he has painted a target on his back. Leafs need to pay him for Boosh.

This guy fighting doesn’t bother me but the way he tries to injure players is unacceptable. He will get tuned in again and it may not be a fight. Somebody will drill him from behind or catch him with a flying elbow. Hockey players have long memories.

Fights are, and should always be, part of hockey. It's the old school goon with intent to injure I have an issue with. He has a target on his back as far as I am concerned.

Yeah he definitely has a history of at least 3 intent to injure hits in his short 10 game NHL career. That is a pattern, not a coincidence.
