I'm by NO MEANS doin' a dance but life is slowly beginning to come back to reality. I knew the kids would be razzing me but I took it in stride. I've been thru worse games/years (that losing shot off Cory Cross' skate still gives me cold sweats) yet my team has always been my team. I may never really be classified as a 'fan' in the general sense but that's just fine by me. I am Leaf fan and will never be accused of being anything else. That ticket pretty well assures me of a life-long affair with frustration but i'll take it. I am only a Leaf fan. To hell with the rest of them.

You're a brave man OM ;D
You see, it's amazing and yet disgusting to see, the amount of NEW Sens fans out there.
Nothing but front-runners!

If I had a buck for every person who's made the comment to me that 'Well, i'm just hoping for a Canadian team and now that the Canucks are out that means i'll cheer for Ottawa' i'd have enough money to buy out Quinn and all his 'pals'. Casual fans get on my nerves this time of year. I just wish there was some way I could show you guys the diff. pics i've got of my Maple Leaf room (soon to be complete with it's own mini-fridge saving you the l-o-n-g trip to the kitchen a mere 20 feet away!!) I tried to make a web-page to show them but am challenged as hell.

The morons around here(Hamilton) are pretty well split, Ottawa and the Ducks. Two lines, well, they're a Canadian team (I guess Brodeur is from Vladivostock) and the "classic" you know, I've always liked Kariya. They all make me sick. I proudly wear my Leaf paraphenalia, and will continue to do so, even if we are 0-82, and you know what? The rest of the hockey world can kiss my A$$ ;D My name is freshwind, and I AM a Leaf fan

Like you, even if the Leafs were 0-82 I'd still proudly wear the Leafs Blue and White. Their losses can be embarassing sometimes, but that doesn't mean I don't love them and it doesn't keep me from wearing their colours.

Many of the kids at my jr. high give me that look when I tell'em i'm a Leaf fan and don't care about other teams. They are raised in a different generation whereby you often pick your team, if you even bother at all to have a fav., by how cool their jersey looks especially that 3rd one!!!!! They just don't understand why you would still follow a team after they've lost. Some of the older kids know that Mr. P has only one team so you'd better get used to the idea. ;D (I'm off to school now, folks. have a good day.)

LOL I know how y'all feel, I go to school where it's Population: Edmonton Oilers, or Ottawa Senators. The Leaf Faithful are here and few between. Forget the dollar OM, grab a penny, you'd still have enough to buy MLSE, Maple Leaf Gardens, and retire nicely. I wonder if Ottawa doesn't do so hot next year, how many of these Ottawa Sens fans will hang around? 0-82 wouldn't bother me, unless it depends on how they were losing, and knowing the Leafs it would be interesting all 82 losses
