That's what Quinn has to do.
if Lumme and Berg crap up, put winning in front of loyalty for once.
case in point Jackman. He's not, and no one thinks he is the second comming of Bobby Orr, however, he's more better then Lumme and Berg but rarely played.
When Quinn decided to bench Corson; someone who was not producing, and the Leafs were winning more with him out of the lineup, then with him in it, he threatens to quit. Then takes it back. then when he's benched again, he "leaves for health reasons".
Health reasons my aunt fanny. Not saying he's not sick, but lovely time to leave for those reasons.
Renberg is leaving because of his family. Also because he didn't get a lot of ice time in the playoffs.
It really cracks me up when you have 1 goal and 2 assits (if that), you deserve MORE ice time.
Most people eat the stale popcorn in the pressbox.
Here's my soloution
Come in September, and lay down the law. Whomever is the Coach, and they are the players. They are going to try their da*ndest to win. There is no I in team. Some people are going to sit for the best of the T-E-A-M, and people are going to benched for a long time.
don't like it, play well. play well, make my job easier.
all this, i'm retiring, i'm not coming back, i'm not liking the ice time crap needs to stop.
Coach Quinn needs to be a Coach, and not a Sentimtinal Sap.
The Team needs to be a Team.
