I watched the Canucks game until it was over and then I switched to the last of the Ducks game. This is the 1st time in Franchise History the Ducks have made it to the Conference Finals. I don't think anyone outside the Ducks would have believed they could make it to the Western Conference Finals. Strange year!! I don't like the Ducks any more now than I ever did, but I detest the Stars more than any other team in the Western Conference, so I'm glad the Ducks elminated them. Out of 202 Shots, Giguere has had 189 saves. When did he get this good!! Jose Theodore was last season's Patrick Roy. Is JS Giguere this season's Patrick Roy? It seems I remember a Poll by TG asking if the Ducks were the real deal, I wouldn't vote yes or no in the poll. My only comment was I didn't know if the Ducks were the real deal, but once they got in front of the home crowd they would elevate their play again, and they just might eliminate the Stars (or something to that effect). It's only fitting they win Round 2 in front of the home crowd. Looks like I will be rooting for the Western Conference to win the Cup. Adam Oates is one of my friend's favorite over all player. She is a Sharks fan, but Adam is still her favorite over all. I'm sure she is in Heaven tonight. Not bad for Stumpy either. Quinn throws him away and now he's in the Western Conference Finals. I am happy for Steve Thomas. Now if the Canucks can just eliminate the Wild, I'll be happy.

I am one who keeps doubting the Ducks.. I never thought they could beat both Det and Dallas. I figured with Detroit okay things can happen. But I never though lightning would strike twice.
For selfish reason the thoughts of the Ducks or Canucks in the finals means late night games, (which is great for you Pam) but where the Leafs are not involved not sure I will watch.
I am really struggling to watch the playoffs this year. I did not watch a second of either of the "late" games.

I hope, the Ducks don't go to the finals, just in case the Sens are there. They would not do too well VS the Sens. Style of play would be wrong

I am at my computer here or somewhere else while the games are on. I'm finding that all the games are boring me because none of them are with the Leafs.

Style of play would be wrong that would break my heart ANAHIEM winning the cup before the leafs. (eep) Or OTTAWA winning the cup period. hmm... what could i stomach more? Prolly the Anahiem connection.

I'd like to see Vancouver take it all but if it comes down to a final between the Sens and the Ducks ... Ducks all the way, please.
Ideally (and how can it be ideal ... with what we are left with ... but), I hate NJ just slightly less than I hate the Sens so I'd prefer to see the Devs advance (preferably in a sweep, LOL). Then I'd love to see the Canucks wipe them out and win it all.

I don't like them, but it would be better for the Ducks to win the Cup than for the Devils to win it again, and it would be worlds better for the Ducks to win the Cup than for the Sens to win it. I hate the thought of the Sens winning the Cup.
