Gunner's "Realistic" Wishlist

Feel free to post your own. ;D. BUT, please keep it realistic and economical. We can't have Blake, Foote or Lidstrom. Lets stick to the UFA left! And remember, we're talking about the Leafs, not Rangers...don't go spending 15million...cause it ain't gonna happen.... ;D. Also...you can't cut Reichel, because as we all know, that is not going to happen either. Keep your "heart" out of it....stay realistic.

With Federov not on the Leafs "list"....Hatcher, Kariya & Selanne, all gone, lets ignore those names

If Gunner be GM he'd:

-re-sign Wesley ( approx. 3 years, 3.0-4.0mill. per year )
-sign DeVries ( approx. 4-5 years, 3.0-3.5mill. per year )
-re-sign Dougie ( 1 year, 1.0-1.5 mill. )
-sign Lindros ( 1 year, approx. 2.0-2.5 mill...if he performs well, resign him )
-hope, Svehla's back ( 1 year, qualifying offer, 4mill. )

Looking at it, it all seems possible. Maybe Lindros is somewhat of a dream, yet I would not be shocked what-so-ever.

Here would be Gunner's line-up come next season:

As well as Foote and Lidstom, I would love to have Jovo, but he isn't realistic either. So.... All I am going to say is:

Re-sign Wesley
Re-sign Dougie
SIGN de Vries

Frankly, anything the Leafs do after what Colorado, Columbus and Detroit did today will probably disappoint me I know I shouldn't feel that way, but I can't help it.

Anyway, realistically, Leafs will resign Jonas Hoglund for 1 million over 1 season. Svhela will retire as he's been planning, and our blue-line will be full of rookies and wannabee's.

With this kind of dream, it can only get better

LOL, MB. So that means while we are disappointed with what little Quinn does, you will be happy with whatever he does. ;D
