I hope everyone with you enjoyed a safe/bbq filled day. My contribution was watching show-after-show of The First 48 on AE. ;D I was also worried about attacks which, i'm sure, wasn't too far away from everybody's mind. The world has become a crazy planet. Glad all are safe.

I didn't even think about attacks yesterday. We get inundated on a daily basis on all the Al-Qaida stuff so I didn't want my holiday ruined (does that make me a bad person?). One section of San Diego that is the south end of Poway is called Scripps Ranch. They have a 4th of July Parade every year. It ends at a park where the have booths and music. Last year they contacted our Star Wars club to be in the Parade. There is a photo company called Grins2Go. They were put in a booth next to an awning for us. People could have pictures taken for free with club members. They invited us back this year, so I was in the parade again. Then I went to the SD County Fair with the Club founder and her son. The fireworks at the fair were spectacular. All in all I had a fun day, and it was sure nice to have 1 day where I didn't have to hear about all the psycho Al-Qaida members and the terrible psycho things they were doing.

Thanks OM for the wishes. I went to my daughters house for a bit and then she I and my ex when to the movies to see the Die Hard movie and then went to a real nice seafood restaraunt. (Plenty of those here). Didn't see any fireworks. Not too big myself on them
