You're MUCH too nice, stu. It's funny because, when this story first came out, you had to resist jumping to conclusions and many were saying he was just the guy who had the $ but wasn't 'the guy' responsible. Well, it's been a few weeks or so, and his 'buddies' are ALL standing in unison saying just the opposite. Guys are simply pleading 'guilty' w/out any deals cut and are pointing the gun back at the NFL superstar. (No pun intended.)
It's been shown that Vick paid for it all right from the get-go, right on his own property, but the fact he actually killed/buried some of those animals is all you need to know. Upsets me just sitting here. Nothing can bring back those poor animals but the knowing it will follow him for the rest of his pathetic life is some consolation. The farther this goes the worse it gets for him. Too bad the old 'eye for an eye' treatment won't come into play.

Yeah it pissed me off even more today. My daughter and I were watching the news earlier when they talked about it. My daughter just started crying. Of course a parent never likes to see a child upset. Both my daughter and I are huge animal lovers. In fact we were at a pet store at the mall today and thee were two smaller dogs in one cage. These two were biting each other and rough housing pretty hard. The bigger of the two had the smaller one pinned on his back. We were all upset. I went to the dude at the counter and asked them to please separate them. The guy took a look and said they are just playing, there is not cut or blood so no need to do anything. I was tee'd off at that too..
Rot in jail Vick... Rot away

My wife won't watch if it's on. Animals are, indeed, a soft point for most. Gotta luv the $1000 suits he wears. My guess is they've got different garbs in 'the big house'.

so the dirtbag pleaded guilty. Wow do I detest this guy. I hope he never plays another down in the NFL again amongst other things I won't get into.
I'd like to see them put him a cage with a couple of these dogs with no weapons and see what a tough guy he is then

I absolutely detest Michael Vick. Dog fighting is horrible. Even if a dog isn't killed in the fight they are still severely injured. How would he like it if he was put in a ring for human fighting and he had to fight for his life? He is worse than a low life. He's worse than scum. These poor dogs had no one to protect them or stand up for them. They are helpless and dependent on the owner, and then this creep runs dog fighting. They should lock him up and throw away the key. He won't get life so he should have a lifetime ban from the NFL. I'm an animal lover so it always makes me very mad when I hear about animal abuse. Just by burying the dogs he knew he was wrong, so that shows he doesn't care if he hurts or kills animals. Too bad they couldn't put him in some ring for human fighting where one person comes out severely injured (I can't bring myself to say fighting to the death), but just for him and no other human fighting. They would need someone much stronger than him so he would be in the hospital for a year from all the injuries (am I terrible to wish that on him?).

You gotta enjoy the fact all his 'friends' turned on him so fast. I also liked what a guy said the other day on tv though I can't rem. who it was. When all this began you'd see many people around the courtroom holding signs of support a la (dare I say it) OJ. Not surpisingly many were dressed in Vick jerseys. To be expected I guess. But the thing I laughed at was many of these 'supporters' were also playing the race card as if this entire story was some kind of set-up to make him look bad b/c of his skin colour. Heard all that as well before. Guess those dogs just died of natural causes and buried themselves.
So, now that he's plead guilty to these charges (as if he had a choice) I wonder how many are still outside holding signs in support of their 'hero' who is being so unjustly accused. Well, I guess the accusation part is over isn't it?? With nowheres left to hide, and nobody to support him aside from those wearing his jerseys, i'm sure he feels the love from society. Maybe he'll find some new fans inside the 'big house. Maybe I should make that the 'dog house'.

What I find a bit alarming for Vick is where is Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton? They always seem to rear their ugly faces in cases like this to defend. They are no where in sight so far. Even they don't seem to feel he is the least bit innocent.

Jackson and Sharpton. Two heroes who'd run thru a brick wall if there's even a shred of a chance they'll be able to toot their own horns (I mean, to defend the righteous) and get their mugs on national tv. It seems every time there's a crisis they're always ready to defend the 'innocent'. Wait....
