I just recieved a call from a close friend of mine who I have grown up with and known my whole life. His 6 year old niece was palying soccor yesterday in Blemont Mass and just collapsed at about 9:30 AM and died. He did not know what caused it as of yet. She was just out on the field and then collapsed. The family has two other young children who have to be explained what is going on. Just a horrible awful tragedy.
I take so much for granted. I just hugged my daughter. You can never do it enough. Ya never know when the time is up..

Went to a funeral this week as well. One of the worst i've been to. Great family. Great mother. Every night I give thanks for my blessings knowing that some days I won't be so lucky. Scares me at times.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's daughter. I can only imagine what the family must be going through. Its something I hope to never experience. People should never outlive their children (or grandchildren). It's bad enough to lose your parents as a young adult, but much worse to lose your child.
