I'm sure all of you have heard about the murder of former model Jasmine Fiore which authorities are 100% sure was committed by her ex-husband Ryan Jenkins. Stugats has been to San Diego so he probably knows the areas involved.
Ryan and Jasmine were in a San Diego Casino and they were staying in Del Mar. San Diego is coast/ocean and also inland/hills. I work in the northern end at the coast in San Diego. Del Mar is about 5 miles north of where I work. After they were at the San Diego casino it has appeared Ryan killed Jasmine in Del Mar, pulled her teeth and cut off her fingers, then stuffed her body in a suitcase, drove to Anaheim which is about 80 miles north of me, and dumped her in a trash can.
The authorities have also said it appears his mother helped him escape the U.S. by taking his boat to Washington State. He then drove the boat to the Washington area where you have to walk into Canada on foot and authorities in both the U.S. and Canada think he did walk over the border.
Canada won't extradite anyone to the U.S. if they will face the death penalty. Any murder is terrible but this was a mutilation murder which is even worse. I can't understand how a country could protect a murderer like him. Can you guys explain that to me? I would expect the U.S. to extradite a murdered to Canada if he fled Canada into the U.S. after murdering someone.
EDIT: I should have mentioned we've only had 13 executions in California since 1976. The first one of the 13 was in April 1992. The last one of the 13 was January 2006. Most people given the death penalty in California sit on death row until they die or are released to die at home because they are dying of cancer.
