So, our favourite nemesis Brad Marchand punches Harrington in the back of the head during a stoppage in play. No penalty, no supplemental discipline.
Marchand's reaction, "it's playoff hockey"
Jordan Binnington the goalie for the Blues at the end of the second period skates past Ben Bishop and slashes him across the back. (2 minute penalty) During the game he also punched Jamie Benn right in the head. .. another 2 minute penalty.
His comment after the game ... "it's playoff hockey"
I think we're about to see some throwback hockey, 70's style. #TBT

Do it. Don't do it. Call them penalties, or don't. I could care less.I liked watching 70's hockey and I like watching hockey today.
What really grinds my gears is the inconsistency of it all. Just be consistent. Don't suspend one guy then let another guy off. Don't change the rules depending on who's name is on the sweater or what game/round of the playoffs it is. That's just stupid and frustrating for fans.

The consistency, or lack of it, is what bugs the heck out of me too, and it frustrates me as well.

well last night Charlie McAvoy of the Bruins hit Anderson of CBJ right in the head. Targeted the head. 100% contact.. only received 2 mins. If you read rule book should have been a 5 and a game. could have turned game around as it was just 1-0 then. Wonder if he gets a suspension? Oh wait he is a Bruin. they tend to gt away with things
