Here's a TSN link about Jimmy Vesey hoping in his own car and racing to Ottawa yesterday to join the Canucks in hopes of making game time.
He actually made it in time, but not his work permit for the Canucks.
The best comment I read was that someone from the Canucks organization should have called him and let him know not to rush, that he'd be a healthy scratch.
