Habs get Eric Staal from Sabres

for a 3rd and 5th rd pick, and the Sabres retain half salary. Good mmove for Habs. Not sure though how mucch he has left but they didn't give up much.. I have always hated Staal as over ears he never had anything nice to say about leafs..

IF we didn;t have Thornton I'd have wanted this for the leafs. 
We didn;t need him but he will help Montreal.
