So apparently the NHL is thinking that the current divisions may exist one more year and it got em thinking. Is the all Canada division something to be considered long term? I'm not talking about only playing these teams. That part of this season sucks. Just pondering what a season could look like with this being a normal division in a normal year. While I do miss the Bruins and Red wings rivalries, I think I like seeing these Canadian matchups regularly and am liking the idea of a Canadian team guaranteed in the final 4.

I don't want to see this season's divisional setup permanently. I am tired of not seeing other team. then there is my selfish reasoning because if this current division set up was permanent, Leafs fans like me would never get to attend a live game with the Leafs again. Then there are Canadian Leafs fans that have relocated to the U.S. They wouldn't like it either. There are a lot of Canadians who live in California - San Jose area and Los Angeles area. Also lots of Canadians living there that are fans of the other Canadian teams.

They would still play in California the same amount. Just more games versus Canadian teams instead of the old Atlantic division teams. I actually think it would help west coast fans such as yourself as they would see more of the leafs in the west time zone.

Yes, that would work as long as I could attend a game with the Leafs at least twice a season. Sorry I misunderstood you.
