Seems to come at a perfect time for Toronto as the big boys all come due. Ten million increase over 3 years starting next year.

I read about this earlier today and was glad to see it. Cap relief for the Leafs and it makes signing Matthews to a new contract easier, something I was worried about prior to this announcement.

That is good news. As it sits today the Leafs are 4$ under the cap!!
