I refuse to argue with anyone on Facebook, so I'm bringing my discussions here where the comments are more thoughtful.
What I see in that video ...
player in white at the start of the sequence cross-checks player in the dark jersey
the game is nearing completion and same player in the dark jersey picks up the puck near his bench and starts out of the zone. player in white jersey is in pursuit and raises his stick in what looks like it could be another cross-check onto the opposing player in the dark jersey. The coach reaches out and grabs the end/blade of the players stick, which in turn causes him to lose balance and fall down. Horn sounds, game over.
I did not see a clothesline of the player, nor any "bullying" action as the Facebook knights are calling it. Should the coach have done what he did? No. Should he be suspended from coaching kids, ever? No. Should the refs have called the first cross-check if they had seen it? Maybe.
