It appears there’s good news regarding Matthew Knies. Both Sheldon Keefe and Austin Matthew have made online comments about Knies saying the injury does not appear to be to bad with Keefe saying the leafs have not ruled Knies out for the game against the Islander tomorrow.

Watching that video it's hard to even guess what that problem could be, although it does appear to be left leg related.
Anything from the hip to the groin, to knee, to ankle. Couldn't even tell by how he was favouring his left, it was the whole leg, not just an ankle.
Strange play to watch though.

Doesn’t sound like much if any time will be missed. I like the way he competes.

Knies said he’s good to go tonight. Looks like he/we dodged a bullet.

Yeah, I saw on TSN about half an hour ago he is ok. Guys have been injured and not able to play before, so it made me nervous when I saw he might be injured.

Good news. I really think this kid is going to just keep getting better. He is a bull on the puck/boards and he can throw his size around too.
