I know this site mentions the Marlies, draft picks and juniors here but I am darned if I can see a thread solely to dedicated it.
Hey and how about that Ryan Tverberg drafted in 2020 in the 7th in round #213 over all pretty much an after thought. Well he's done pretty well for himself, 3 years as a top 6 forward for the Univerisity of Connecticut who turned pro this years. Inspite of being a very low draft pick Tverberg does have some intriguing skills starting with he's 6 feet and 190 pounds and he's a very good skater, then there's his tentenacious forechecking and never quit on anything work effort. Now I not projecting Ryan Tverberg to be a star of any kind as he projects as a 3 line or winger though he can also play centre. I'm saving the best for last, the Marlies played last night and Ryan Tverberg scored 4 goals for them bring his total for the year to 6 year. Before saying that's not much Tverberg was injured in the second game of the season and missed almost 2 months and just return about 3 weeks ago.
Oh and for the Dennis Hildeby doubters in his first game back with the Marlies he shutout the Belleville Bulls

Thanks for all these finn. I will admit I dont follow the minors so its good to hear about them.
On a side note im watching the Marlies game from last night so im glad the boys won. Love their jerseys, too. Wish the Leafs had done the laces that way.

No problem Gerard I started following the prospects and minors years ago when the leafs really stunk and was looking for some reason not to completely give up on them and got hooked. I’ll add one more name to the list: Easton Cowan hasn’t missed a beat since returning from the world junior championships in 5 games he has 3 goals And 6 assist for 9 points. Over all in 27 games with the London Knights he has 15 goals 32 assist for 47 points with a gritty 35 Penalty minutes. Cowan is still just 18 and won’t turn 19 until May 20. By the way enjoy the Marlies game it sounds like a wild one.
