Hey after such a disappointing loss last night there is a rumour floating around that the leafs management is meeting today to discuss there future of Sheldon Keefe. Leafs blogger Mike Armenti is suggesting Keefe may be fire. As with any rumour take if with a grain of salt but I'm sure it is going to get tongue's a wagging this is Toronto after all.
*** UPDATE: turns out Armenti reposted this rumour did not hear it directly, again take it for what it is worth.

I don’t wish anybody loses their job but Keefe has to go. The question is who would take the coaching reigns if this is indeed what happens? Is it Boucher and will he be that much different than Keefe if he’s the guy? Or do they look outside the current coaches and bring some of in? |

Craig Berube is available, I dont know much about him though he did win the cup with St Louis. |

Best thing that could happen is miss the playoffs or at least be sellers at the deadline. Offload all the pending UFA’s for picks/ prospects, fire Keefe and Shanny… maybe even Tre. Maybe Quenville could be persuaded to coach or take Shannys spot. Yes the team would still be saddled with the core but at least they could get something in return for the UFAs instead of letting them walk. This franchise is a joke.
