What Leafs team will show up for this game?

It might not matter. Leafs could play a good game and still come up short. The Flames have won four in a row and 7 of 9. If you look at the standings Calgary has pretty much the same record as Toronto so I can't say they're playing an weaker team. Having home ice I'll give the flames the edge in this one, considering Toronto's play of late.

Oddly, I expect a win, in regulation. Calgary is too Jekyll and Hyde.

Now out of top 3 in division. In a wild card spot by skin of teeth. Playoffs are not a given
I'll probably pass on watching. Sleep a bit more important rt now. If they were playing well I'd watch. But unlike delusional Mitch I think they've been awful lately

I am not working tomorrow so I will stay up and watch it even though its a 10 o'clock start. I hope the boys play well, but I am more concerned about the obvious flaws. If they lose heading to Vancouver on Saturday night is going from the frying pan to the fire.
Either way, I'm not going to listen to the post game interviews because, win or lose, the boys just say the same things afterwards and it drives me crazy.

Mokole said Calgary is too Jekyll and Hyde but Toronto is actually the same type of team. I’m going to start watching as it is a 9:00 start here. Nothing planned Friday except a follow up appointment with my cardiologist but that isn’t until 2:45 so I might forego some sleep time depending how the game goes. I’m hoping for a change in game results but expecting the same. I’ve got Leafitis and it’s not curable. And I guess that makes me a moron too.

I'll be there tonight lol.

Over the course of this season we’ve talked a lot about the 3rd and 4th lines and their short comings both offensively and defensively. Think it time to talk about the second line and the lack production we are seeing from it. I’m not worried about William Nylander we all knew a slow down was coming, in fact I’ll congratulate Nylander on doing so well in spite of having two linemates with limations. The player on the second line I’m concerned about is John Tavares his decline seems to taken a noticeable upturn this season. Tavares is on pace for a measly 23 goals, but that may be an optimistic projection as he has been in a prolonged slump for almost two months now in which he has scored only 5 goals in 26 games. I’m not at all optimistic about this team even making the playoffs enless Tavares can turn his season around.

Well the first is nearly over and it's a miracle we're only down by a goal. They've had many quality chances and scored their goal because we failed to get the puck out of our zone.
We really haven't even had a shot on net except for some long ones from the point. In short this is just a repeat of the other games. Theyve done nothing.
as I speak, we're taking our second penalty of the period. I have a feeling I'm going to bed. I have to get up early and the boys are showing me nothing to stay up for.
Edit 2-0 now. A very fortunate bounce for Calgary but the damage is done. We are very terrified team and this could easily be 5–0. Speaking of five we have five shots with three minutes left.
Matthews gets us back to within one but this is honestly the first shot we have had the entire period. I'm still gonna hit the sack. These guys just frustrate the crap out of me.

My heart sunk with both Flames goals. It doesn't look like the Leafs lengthy meeting yesterday has done any good. At least Matthews just scored.

Ended up watching 1st period but I've seen enough. Like Gerard said we should be down more.. I've seen bad but McCabe tonight was as bad as it gets. His attempted passes out of zone were awful. I'm shocked how bad he was. Giveaway after giveaway. None of them have a clue how to get puck out of zone.
Is Marner dressed? Can't tell. JT is skating in quick sand. Feel for Jones. Neither his fault. At least Holmberg hustles.
A loss and we fall out if wild card. Haha what a joke. But nothing will happen. Just keep with the same things

Matthews gets his 2nd to tie game. I think that whole sequence was a good example of what happens when you keep teams bottled up their own end. You draw penalties. The Leafs draw very few penalties because they aren't good at keeping pressure on the defense.

Maybe the new Leaf strategy should include falling behind by two goals every game. They seem to play better hockey that way.
