I don't know all the positions, but i'll just tell you who I want.

I like the sound of Klee and Johansson (wsh). Calle J. is v. good on the powerplay, and Klee is a big guy.

Desjardin (Phil). rumours were that Clarke wasn't going to sign him a contract, and he still won't, (it's Clarke) but chances are he will, as we saw how valuable he was to the franchise after he got injured.

Zhitnik from (Buff), isn't he a UFA?

Ulf Dahlen...(Det) he's a winger, could play w/Mats?

Adam Graves (SJ) and Shojn Podein (St Louis)

Jason Wooley and Darren McCartey (Det). With McCartey, I've read many a paper that Holland is prepared to let him walk this season. Ditto with Igor Larinov.

Todd Marchant (Edm) for Centre. ditto with Andrew Cassles (CBJ) who has a option year (His choice); and WANTS to play for Toronto.

I'd rather have Reichel solely for PK (league top 5 way to go R.R), and fourth line centre

the key here is:

Get younger old players not old, get Cdn born players if possible, because they'd be more likely to gravitate towards Toronto, more then a US born player right now (ie: Guerin, etc...)

He's gone and won't be back. Kjellberg told the Ducks he had to go back to Europe because there were major family issues he had to take care of. He told the Ducks he had planned on retiring after this season anyway, so he has left the Ducks.

I think I'll take these guys to start. But, I only got to the c's on the list before I realized I was being ridiculous.

There certainly are more than a few names to pick from but the odds on us getting anybody is slim, i'd say. Our team is already the (not to) go-to team out there as indicated by all those from the past few years who have said no to TO and things should get even more discouraging if our early exit, internal bickering and list of players jumping ship is any indication. The bitterness is still so far inside my mouth it's impossible to taste anything else so I can't see much hope this summer especially if Quinn is allowed to run the show. If mgmt hasn't got the stones to take their heads out of the sand God help us. If this new mgmt. is dropping the ball already how much optimism should we hold for the future?? CL mentioned earlier that we should send off Mogilny since we seem to be falling out of contention and his talents are both a tax on the salary end and on any youth getting a chance. With the hopes of so many let's just hope we have something to cling to the next few months.
